Advanced Method Validation
For whom: Technical laboratory managers, senior laboratory technicians
In this course, we will go more in depth with the participants on the various validation parameters. Metrological requirements on the selection of appropriate reference materials, uncertainty of measurements and metrological traceability will get ample attention. We will present the concept of detection limit and approaches for estimation thereof. The various views on recovery will be discussed.
This course includes both lectures and practical exercises such as on planning of validation experiments, finding appropriate CRMs, approaches for estimating uncertainty of measurement, reporting metrological traceability, statistical tests and validation reports.
N.B. this course could replace the 2 previous courses on Method Validation and Uncertainty of Measurement for senior staff who has already worked on these 2 topics
