Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001:2015 and Occupational Health and Safety Management

The ISO 14001:2015 for the Environmental Management System contains all requirements which an institute should consider to prove their policy related to saving environment from the dangerous effects of their applications. It helps the institute on how to optimize their resources and to treat their waste in a way to assure the prevention of contamination to the environment.
Similarly the OHSAS guidelines is an important document which containing all requirements related to the assurance of safety of people within a work place either staff, visitors or stake holders.
The implementation of these 2 standards in addition to ISO 9001:2015 in case of institute / industry or ISO/IEC 17025 in case of laboratories, helped those types of institute to establish an integrated quality management system assuring the continuous improvement of the facility.
The course will cover main requirements of the ISO 14001 and OHSAS guideline:
- New approaches in quality: planning, control, assurance, systems and management
- Requirements of ISO 14001: defining the environmental aspects and impact of the facility
- Guideline for impact categorization based on the danger of each defined aspect
- Implementation and follow-up
- Requirements for OHSAS: discussion of general requirement which might help the facility in identifying the level of danger to the safety of staff from their own applications
