Principles of Method Validation

For whom: Technical laboratory staff involved in tests

We will introduce the purpose of method validation to the participants and explain why various characteristics have to be assessed before offering analyses as a service.  Approaches for estimating the various validation parameters will be presented. The requirements to method validation  in International Standards will be discussed.

This course includes lectures and several practical exercises such as identifying the required validation parameters in selected case studies, planning of validation experiments, simple statistical tests and validation reports.
