Nuclear analytical techniques provide a wealth of information - some of which is difficult or impossible to obtain by other means - on e.g. sources, pathways and effects of many chemical compounds of relevance to e.g., the environment, human health, societal issues or industrial processes.  The challenge lies in finding opportunities derived from the unique and/or complementary characteristics  of this science.
